My Top 5 Monthly Favorites.

So I’ve tried doing monthly favorites on here before, but I recently wanted to do them in a form of categories that I can change around every month. Why? Because if I’m being payticularly honest, I don’t have a new skincare or hair product to try every month, and report back to you guys on. That’s when I realized I wanted to tell you guys about my favorites that I swear by monthly only!

Skincare: Dermalogica Ultracalming Serum Concentrate
This serum is targeted towards sensitive skin, which I have. It mainly helps me calm my acne, redness, and irritation. I apply it right before my moisturizer, and I only focus it on certain areas that I need it most, which are my cheeks and chin. I’ve been using the serum for over a month, and it really helps calm my skin overnight by reducing the irritation, and bringing my cheeks back to life.

Haircare: Moroccanoil Original Treatment
I don’t know if you guys have heard, but hair oils are the talk of the town lately. I feel as if my mom and grandma knew about them for years and that’s why my younger sister and I have been using them since we were kids, whether that is coconut or moroccan oil. But recently with the colder temperatures, I’ve been back to using Moroccanoil because this helps my dry ends a lot. I use a dime size after I wash my hair, and rub it all throughout. You don’t want to use too much because it can make your hair look greasy after you freshly washed it. The purpose of this oil is to leave your hair silky, shiny, and healthy. And how does that happen? Well, the product contains antioxidant-rich argan oil, and shine boosting vitamins… music to my ears. So during the winter months, whenever I straighten or curl my hair, I see a healthy shine and no dryness!

Clothing: OldNavy Boots
During the fall and winter seasons, you will always catch me wearing boots and lately, all of them have been from OldNavy. My most favorite are pictured below, which are the roasted chestnut, faux-suede pair. They go with so many different outfits, and also fit so well! All of their boots are so comfy, and definitely made for walking.

Lifestyle: Podcast: The Target Girl
Just recently, I’ve become obsessed with listening to podcasts, and my current favorite is The Target Girl. First of all, if you are in a love relationship with Target, this is the podcast to listen to. I enjoy listening to her because she tells us obviously about all things Target. But her podcast has so much more to offer. She has amazing guests who talk about all aspects of their lives. To me, it’s so interesting to hear what they have to say because so many of the topics are so relatable, and it’s nice to hear how they handle certain situations. So do yourself a favor, and go have a The Target Girl run.

Miscellaneous: Holiday Decor
I have to say it’s officially my favorite time of year. Not weather wise, but definitely holiday wise. I love decorating my house for Christmas with my sisters because it’s the one thing we all have majorly in common. We tend to buy our Christmas decorations from Target and Michael’s because we just love their’s the best. The holiday lights and colors just bring so much joy to our home, and in my opinion, nothing is more peaceful than that. But our favorite tradition besides eating advent calendar chocolate for breakfast, is making a new gingerbread house every year. We struggle with the icing, but enjoy our time doing festive activities because it helps keep us kids at heart forever!

Thanks for stopping by:)

XO~(Pay)al
