I’m Walking on Sunshine.

As we all know the sad truth is that summer is coming to a close, and honestly that only means two things: no more warm weather where I live, and you can still wear whatever bright color you want to that makes you feel good. I have always been into a yellow mustard color for my skin tone. I don’t know what it is, but when my mom says “I need more color in my wardrobe” I only gravitate towards darker versions of bright colors. I don’t know, it may just be a payticular thing I do.

I’m going to keep wearing bright tones as long as I want just like I did with my last outfit of the day.ACS_0020I was in love with the color of this dress when I saw it at Target.com Personally, I’m going to be wearing this dress all year round. How you may ask? Well because in the fall you can still wear summer dresses as long as you add some layers. And that’s exactly what I did. I decided to wear a cropped white tee from Brandymelvilleusa.com under the dress, so it was more of a casual look. ACS_0019For the sandals, I kept them really simple. But hey simple means comfortable and I’m all here for that too. My sandals are from Steve Madden, and I don’t know if they still have them anymore because I got them in the beginning of the summer. I haven’t been able to locate them in stores or online, but honestly any white sandals work. I didn’t want to wear colorful sandals because I felt that they would just clash with the colors of the dress.

If you guys have read my blog post “Prancing in Pom Poms”, I talked about the bag I’m carrying with this outfit in detail. But it really is just a perfect bag to hold a lot of my necessary goods for a day in the city.

Thanks for stopping by:)
